Having some time off is nice.
I worked all of Spring Break and I was feeling the effects of this as I spent half an hour trying to wake up for work this morning. Today it struck me of how good it felt not to be working at Cracker Barrel anymore. I went into Winn Dixie to get a money order for my last two payments of car insurance. In the past I have been known to give the cashier about $150 worth of ones when today it was nice to be able to pay him in bigger forms of currency. He asked me where I worked and I told him that last time I saw him I worked for Cracker Barrel, but now I'm working at Ale House.
I've finally crossed over.
Not as much crossing over in the sexual preference area, but more in the area of my vocation. The transition was a little rocky, but the fact that Spring Break is over with and school is coming up means that I'll be back to normal life as usual: Lots of work, lots of school, and lots of not following through on things that I should have already done by now.
It seems that the plan for the rest of the day is to go to a cookout. Hang out with one of the high school guys in the youth group, and relax. It's looking like my schedule for the rest of the day is pretty full.
