I'm still struck with the immaturity of people who play hearts on the Internet.

Yes, I may be one of them, but I like to think that I am excluded from the all to common immaturity. For instance, today I was playing with 2 guys and an older woman. I made some comment like they are dropping like flies, or something to that effect, and then this older woman who I mistook for a 15 year old girl who hadn't matured yet and was trying to impress me said something that confused me at first...let me just copy down the conversation in some of its entirety, so you can see just how bad it gets.

her: Another one bites the dust
me: yeah, they're dropping like flies
her: maybe they are
me: are what?
her: flies

(I could have ended the conversation right now, but I try not to make people look like asses...if I can help it)

me: yeah, I guess they could have a problem with crapping every time they sit down
her: well, I guess it would be difficult for flies to use the mouse and keyboard
her: unless there was a big group of them at one time. LOL
me: ummm... yeah
her: (something stupid)
me: right.......
her: (something else stupid)
(and so on)

Flies? I don't claim to be the funniest person in the world but... "Flies?" My desire to play hearts on the Internet just took a serious hit. I guess that's a good thing.
