I woke up barely conscious and saw Chris come into the room ready to go to school. He sat down on the chair and let out a prolonged sigh before he told me he missed the bus. I wouldn't say I love waking up at the butt-crack of 8:00 but I would say that I welcome the opportunity. I took him to class and on my way home I surveyed my present untidiness in the rearview mirror. My hair was sticking up and I had huge chunks of green stuff lodged in the corners of my eyes. My breath smelled like crap and my feet were freezing because I hadn't thought to put on any shoes. I smiled stupidly at people walking to class who didn't hide the fact that they thought I looked oddly hilarious. I didn't mind it though. It's my nature to welcome attention.
I denied my urge to get back into bed, and I did e-mail instead. Not long. Browsed around for a while, and played two games of hearts on the Internet (nerd alert). Then I did some homework and read the Word while I smoked my pipe. I propped my legs on the desk and enjoyed the open window in front of the desk even though the breeze was freezing my feet. After putting on my socks I decided that I'd read Luke. It was good and I also got back into memorizing Scripture.
I read some blogs for a while and now I'm writing in my own. It felt like it was 5:00 and I looked at the clock which read 1:24. There are a few perks to waking up before noon... just a few though. It's been a good day and I've gotten a lot done. I hope to hang out with Jason tonight and get some more homework and video game playing done later on. My body clock is a bit messed up, but my stomach isn't. Since I'm starting to feel hungry I think I'll go treat myself to two ham sandwhiches and some of Jason's chips.
Mmmmmm.....boy
