This will just be another one of my failing attempts to categorize girls:

girl #1

This girl is extremely attractive and has a way about her that has every guy tripping over themselves to gain her attention. When she's ignored them long enough they begin to break off pursuit, but that is just the time when she becomes interested in them. As they start to become attacted to her again she once again lets herself be chased thus starting this cycle over again. In doing this she not only enjoys this game that she is in complete control of, but she constantly holds the affections of one or more guys in her back pocket. She keeps them on a short leash and uses them when she feels that it is to her emotional gain. There are varying degrees of this kind of girl, and there are also some who don't know they do these things, or just don't know the damage they doing. These girls can be great friends, but they are kept at arms length for fear of the potential pain they could inflict .

girl #2

This girl, although she isn't always instantly attractive to guys, requires a guy's love and respect instead of mere infatuation. She also doesn't care much for the attraction of guys. She goes much deeper than what is readily seen and often surprises guys who take the time to get to know her. Her focus is not on herself and this causes guys to be that much more attracted to her. Since she doesn't want attention on herself, conversation will often be focused on what ultimately is important. Her evident love for the Lord causes time spent with her to be upbuilding spiritually. She causes a guy to look for fulfillment in the Lord rather than in her. Friendship with a girl like this goes deep. It is a prized possession that eventually either needs to be wrenched from a guy's white-knuckled fist or if for some spot of luck, won't need to be. I hope that once I've found this girl, I won't be made to let her go.

I don't know if my heart could survive that.
