A two hour drive changes everything.
The change in scenery, people. Just the feeling of being home is different than up at school. In Gainesville, I feel the pressing need of work, bills, school. Time is short and needs to be taken advantage of. Different responsibilities are categorized into time frames in order of importance. There are constantly things to do, and if nothing is being done, it gives you the feeling of laziness.
At home in Orlando, time seems to slow. Hours, minutes, seconds seem to run together. Time just holds less importance here. No pressing need to work. Just time spent with Trinity, Mom, and Dad during the day. At night, time is spent with old friends from High School. Instead of being woken up by an alarm, I usually get a friendly shake from my mom. Unfortunately, I'm not down for the whole summer yet.
Jason and I just came down for a short time before we need to go back up to finish building the A/C filter frames that we have been working on building for the past week. My dad's downstairs watching T.V. I think I'm going to go down and watch with him.
Why not. There's nothing else I need to be doing right now.
