When I checked my e-mail this morning there was only one new message in my inbox.
A note that probably didn't take much time to write and didn't cost anything to make or send, was incredibly encouraging. If this is all it takes to completely alter someone's day for the better, then I can't for the life of me figure out why I haven't been making thoughtfulness a priority. The e-mail I read this morning was this:
I don't know if it was your kind face or the yellow shirt, but your brief interjection to our study time yesterday was a sweet little blessing. Just wanted to drop you a note and remind you today that you are a unique and wonderful -- leaving imprints on so many! Thanks Josh, for always be willing to side step into my path. You bring much joy!
I am floored by some people's ability to encourage.
