It is interesting that when a person is a good writer and has a considerable audience of readers, the writer somehow becomes more important. For instance, when I'm commenting on my brother's blog, I somehow feel like I'm always wanting to make sure people know that I'm his brother. Hey look at me. I'm the younger brother of Jason Killingsworth. The author of the blog: jasonshead.blogspot.com. Then when I see him during the day, he becomes normal again. Just another one of my friends. I don't feel the pressing need to impress people by being around him.

I wonder if some people feel the same about me.

Speaking of boosting my ego, I got asked to go on a sorority formal with one of my friends. In a way it's releasing to know that there were probably three main reasons why she asked me in particular:

1) I am a friend and nothing more

2) I know other girls in the sorority, so she wouldn't have me following her around the whole night

3a) I'm a fun loving party guy

3b) I dress nice and am "ridiculously good looking" (disclaimer: joke/quote from Zoolander)

I've decided that most of these are good and valid reasons.

Daddy's gotta go pick out something nice to wear.
