I feel like my life is a lot like driving. As I am approaching a red light I hate coming to a complete stop because it's a pain to get going again. It's much nicer when you time a light perfectly so that you don't have to slow down. My writing had stopped, the engine had stalled and people were yelling at me to get my car moving again.

My life has been very different lately. I get up for class, I study and do well on my tests, I cleaned my room and closet, vacuumed, did my laundry, went shopping for work clothes, I paid my car insurance bill and am well on my way to earning enough money for the bills next month.

In all that, I've managed to spend some time with the Lord and grow a little closer to him. Poor choices in how I spend my free time, still poses a problem, but I'm not just sitting on my butt anymore.

I guess that counts for something.
